Diversion and Extinguishment Orders

Paths may be moved or extinguished under different statutory processes and on different legal tests.  Whilst this is not always easy or straightforward, and can be time consuming and expensive, we aim to give you the best opportunity to succeed.

We analyse the prospects for success, undertake the required consultation and submit applications, following through with their processing to a decision by the appropriate council.

Following our work at Pitshill, West Sussex, the grounds on which diversion orders may be made has been clarified and expanded.

In the event of objections we will prepare the case for written representations, hearing or inquiry.

We have worked on some complex and high profile cases and are used to heading teams of professionals to present the best possible case to Inspectors determining objections.

We are currently working on complex schemes in Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, and Sussex and on diversions elsewhere in England.

"I would never have succeeded without your expertise.   I thank you once again - you know how much it has meant to me."
